Our Services

Children and young people

Our personalised assessment (accepted by CAMHS) begins with a parental phone consultation, followed by a home visit for a detailed developmental history, a subsequent home visit for an Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), and if required, a school observation.

Adults

Your assessment begins with a telephone screening appointment, followed by a home visit for a detailed developmental history, and a further home visit appointment for an Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS). If required, you may be asked to complete autism questionnaires.

Home visits and reports

We offer a personalised and confidential service including phone calls, home visits and comprehensive, tailored reports. Our assessments are accepted by CAMHS (children and young people). Adult assessments are accepted by GP/NHS.

Autism Assessments Aberdeen offers a professional and local service throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire for children, young people and adults who are looking for a potential autism spectrum diagnosis. The full service will be carried out by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. James Isles DClin.Psychol., who has over 45 years of experience working in NHS mental health services.
